Biblioteca Nacional Digital BND
A Biblioteca Nacional Digital foi lançada como projecto da BNP em Fevereiro de 2002, enquanto serviço de acesso em linha à cópia digital de documentos das suas colecções, integrando obras que desde 1998 já vinham sendo digitalizadas no contexto de exposições e outras actividades de difusão cultural da Instituição.

Biblioteca Digital Mundial
A Biblioteca Digital Mundial disponibiliza na Internet, gratuitamente e em formato multilíngue, importantes fontes provenientes de países e culturas de todo o mundo.

Biblioteca Digital Camões
O Instituto Camões disponibiliza em linha, na Biblioteca Digital Camões, um conjunto de obras, teses, artigos e comunica­ções sobre a cultura portuguesa, somando, neste momento, cerca de 1200 títulos. As obras estão organizadas tematicamente e por autor.

Biblioteca Virtual - Miguel de Cervantes
La Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes es un fondo bibliográfico y documental que, mediante la utilización de las nuevas tecnologías, se pone libremente a disposición de los usuarios de internet con el objetivo de difundir las obras y los documentos más destacados de la citada cultura.

Biblioteca Digital Europeia - EUROPEANA
Europeana é uma Rede Temática financiada pela Comissão Europeia no âmbito do Programa eContentplus, enquanto parte da i2010 policy. Originalmente conhecida por European digital library network – EDLnet – consiste numa parceria de 100 representantes de organizações patrimoniais e científicas, e especialistas de tecnologias de informação, de toda a Europa, que contribuem para os Módulos de Trabalho nos quais estão a ser resolvidos os aspectos técnicos e de usabilidade.

Internet Archive
The Internet Archive is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that was founded to build an Internet library. Its purposes include offering permanent access for researchers, historians, scholars, people with disabilities, and the general public to historical collections that exist in digital format.
Founded in 1996 and located in San Francisco, the Archive has been receiving data donations from Alexa Internet and others. In late 1999, the organization started to grow to include more well-rounded collections. Now the Internet Archive includes texts, audio, moving images, and software as well as archived web pages in our collections, and provides specialized services for adaptive reading and information access for the blind and other persons with disabilities.

University of Florida Digital Collections (UFDC)
The University of Florida Digital Collections (UFDC) hosts more than 300 outstanding digital collections, containing over 14 million pages, covering over 78 thousand subjects in rare books, manuscripts, antique maps, children's literature, newspapers, theses and dissertations, data sets, photographs, oral histories, and more for permanent access and preservation. Through UFDC, users have free and Open Access to full unique and rare materials held by the University of Florida and partner institutions.

The UF Libraries encourage and support faculty collaboration on digital collections and digital scholarship.
